David Giuntoli was cast as 'Nick Burkhardt' a homicide detective with the perfect life until his aunt appears with a secret. Upon discovering that he is a 'Grimm' and that there is a whole world he didn't know existed, Nick has to balance his work as a cop with protecting mankind from various creatures. Nick struggles with keeping his secret from his partner, and his girlfriend, but luckily has blutbad Monroe to help him along the way. Giuntoli reviously had a regular role on the CW's "Privileged" as 'Jacob Cassidy'. His guest appearances include "Greys Anatomy", "Veronica Mars", "Eli Stone", "Ghost Whisperer", and "The Unit" among others.
